A pleasant arrival and check-in experience overall. The hotel did not have information about our early check-in request, despite an email being sent to the reservations team, and check-in was completed only at the standard check-in time.

Beautifully maintained heritage spaces surrounded by lush greenery, creating a distinctive old-world luxury atmosphere.

Excellent food quality and service across the dining experiences. Restaurants such as Loya and the Machan buffet are on the expensive side compared with similar luxury hotels; Machan’s buffet also had comparatively less variety and no live counters.

The biggest shortcomings were pre-arrival communication and the pricing and variety of some dining experiences. Despite these issues, the hotel delivers a genuine luxury experience, and the 10/10 value-for-money score reflects the overall package received for the room rate, including breakfast and access to the hotel’s facilities and amenities.
